Guerrillas on the Bank

We are a loosely established local group of gardeners who have been planting locally occurring native plants in various public spaces in the district around Uraidla. We have been aware for some time of the neglected bank where Greenhill Road meets Basket Range Road opposite the Uraidla Pub. This is a very public place and would benefit greatly from careful planting and tending. We propose to use the grant to buy appropriate local seedlings from Kersbrook Landcare Nursery intending to beautify and stabilise this bank and provide some habitat for small birds. We are committed to clearing the weeds and planting and tending the seedlings to establish them.
